Frequently asked questions
Who can drive the motorhome?
Drivers will need to be between 25 and 69 years of age and held their licence for at least 2 years.
Drivers must hold a UK driving licence with B category.
Drivers can have up to 3 penalty points. If they have more than this we will have to contact our insurers to ensure they are happy to cover the driver and an excess charge may be required. Please contact us if you or any driver has more than 3 points.
We also need to know if any driver has had one or more accidents in the last 5 years
All drivers will need to be approved by our insurers.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. There are 2 different deposits we require.
HIRE DEPOSIT
Customers will be required to pay a 25% non refundable booking deposit.
The full balance will be due within 6 weeks of the due date. Please note that while the deposit is non refundable we will happy make one change to your booking free of charge so you can choose new dates if needed
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A £1000 security deposit is required at the time of collection. This will be returned once the motorhome has been fully checked to ensure it has been returned in the same condition as when collected.
